In the Hunting Private Reserve of Agolada the Baixo, pigeons can only be shot during their passing, with or without the use of decoys.
Hunters that may be interested can have the right to shoot these species by acquiring a position, (a “door”) which can be occupied by one or two guns (two friends). A third gun can be placed, some meters away, as a “godmother”, without permission to use decoys.
It is authorized to hunt two days per week – Thursdays and Sundays – from sunrise until around 4pm, in order to allow birds to arrive in peace during the afternoon and guarantee a peaceful rest.
